A little BrandZing Glossary
This is my Number 1º blog posting so by way of introduction – besides being a brand analyst, interpreter of clues, chief creative optimist, visual storyteller, master of zing, professional brain-stormer and a compulsive founder of branding and design companies – my great claim to fame is that I am a Dutch sea captain’s daughter. My surname is hard to pronounce, even more difficult to spell and breaks all the rules, of course. In my case, the ‘i’ comes before the ‘e’. What’s more, I don’t even have a Dutch accent although I can fake one brilliantly.
If you’re an entrepreneur CEO or think like one, it’s critical, more than ever, to be BrandCentric: ie. spend more attention to your brand. So to celebrate my first posting on this blog, I’m going to share a couple of strategies re thinking differently about your brand, or as I call it, capturing and embedding the zing in your brand! After all, it’s what I do. OK. What’s Zing? Here you go – A Zing Glossary.
Zing Glossary™ of Terms
n. – zing (i) an exquisite, irresistible part of every entrepreneur CEO that needs to be identified, captured, articulated and expressed in their brand so their business can soar and catapult to new levels. (ii) a feeling people crave; also, a sophisticated, style-driven and cutting-edge perspective
v. – zing your brand. (i) a provocative, new way of doing business today; a new paradigm shift in building a thriving business for the 21C; an innovative way to show up, stand out, stake out your territory so your brand will be set apart in an over-saturated marketplace. PS It also powers up the credibility factor so entrepreneur CEOs are seen as industry experts, land more clients, and ultimately impact the bottom line.
n.– zing factor (i) an unmistakable quality an individual, entity or company embodies in order to naturally attract clients, resonate with people, capture attention, turn heads; also, acts like a magnet
n. – master of zing – n. a person who zings; also, one who owns their brilliance
